Game Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and scope

This policy describes how information is handled in connection with Spot Zero on Steam and feedback that you choose to send to the team.

The Spot Zero information website is covered by a separate Website Privacy Policy.

2. Steam features and game saves

You do not need to create an additional game account to play Spot Zero. The game uses your SteamID and supports Steam achievements and Steam Cloud saves.

Game saves are stored on your computer and in Steam Cloud. Information handled by Valve for Steam features is processed under Valve’s Privacy Policy.

3. Diagnostic and gameplay data

Spot Zero does not automatically upload crash logs, device configuration information, performance data or gameplay analytics.

You may choose to provide a log, screenshot or save file when reporting an issue, as described below.

4. Feedback you choose to provide

You can provide feedback to administrators in the game's communities or contact the team directly by email. Depending on the issue, you may choose whether to include logs, screenshots or save files. Providing these attachments is entirely voluntary.

Your feedback may contain contact information, such as your community display name or email address, the content of your message and any attachments you choose to provide.

Please do not include passwords, payment credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information. Review screenshots, logs and save files before sharing them, and avoid including unrelated personal information.

We will use feedback information to respond to your questions, troubleshoot problems and improve the game. Where collaboration is needed, relevant information will be passed on as necessary among the community administrators, customer support staff or developers responsible for the issue. Information submitted through community platforms or email will also be processed by the respective platform or email service provider under its privacy policy.

We will retain information that identifies you only for as long as necessary to handle feedback, follow up on related issues and meet applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we will delete it or remove the information that identifies you.

5. Access, correction and deletion requests

To ask about personal information we hold about you, or to request access to, correction of or deletion of that information, please contact dev@tartagames.com. We will verify your identity where necessary and handle your request in accordance with applicable law. For information held by Steam or a community platform, please submit your request through that platform’s channels.
